Over 100 years of hospitality

The newly-refurbished William Tell House Inn is the perfect base to take in all that the Tomales region and its local producers have to offer. The Tell has a long history operating as a hotel since it’s origin in 1877, but in recent years has been sadly unavailable to the public. We’ve lovingly and painstakingly renovated the rooms and are proud to offer them as public accommodations once again.

Every effort was made to retain the Tell’s old California charm, restoring the original hardwood floors to their former glory while adding rustic modern touches and regional art. Each of our three rooms are tastefully furnished with natural woods and quality amenities, and you'll rest on a brand new comfortable memory foam mattress with quality cotton bedding. Rooms also feature flat-screen TVs with streaming devices, fast Internet, bluetooth speakers from LSTN Sound Co, cozy blankets from Trek Light Gear, interesting reads and luxury soaps. The Tell is perfect base for exploring the surrounding region or escaping from the city for the weekend. Well-behaved dogs are welcome!

We've done our best to soundproof these old walls but the rooms are above the saloon downstairs, so if you are early to bed you might want to consider that on nights the saloon is open.
